Terms of Use
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and PrizEDU ("we", "us"), the maker of Brainimo. They apply to the website brainimo.app and the Brainimo app for iPhone, iPad and Android. By creating a family account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Brainimo.
What Brainimo is
Brainimo is a set of short learning games for kids aged 4 to 11. Kids earn stars by playing and by finishing the missions you set, and spend them on rewards you choose. Parents set up the family, the rewards and the missions in a parent area that only grown-ups can open.
Your family account
- The account belongs to the parent or legal guardian who creates it. You must be an adult (18, or the age of majority where you live).
- Kids use Brainimo through your account, with your permission and under your supervision. They don't get accounts of their own.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account, and for keeping the parent area closed to your kids.
- Give true information about yourself, and only the information about your kids that the app asks for.
Stars and rewards
- Stars are points inside the game. They have no money value, can't be bought, and can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash.
- Rewards are chosen, priced in stars and given by you. Brainimo does not sell, ship or deliver any goods, and is not part of any promise between you and your kids. Whether and when a reward is given is up to you.
- Outfits and other things kids get with stars inside the game are part of the game; they can't be exchanged for anything outside it.
Brainimo Pro subscription
Brainimo is free to use. Brainimo Pro is an optional subscription for the whole family. You can buy it in the iPhone or iPad app through Apple's In-App Purchase, in the Android app through Google Play, or on the website brainimo.app, where our payment provider Stripe takes the payment. You manage and cancel it where you bought it.
- The price and the period (monthly or yearly) are shown before you buy: in the app by the App Store or Google Play, in your currency; on the website in US dollars.
- A first subscription may start with a free trial; its length is shown before you buy. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
- Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends: to your Apple ID (App Store), to your Google account (Google Play), or to your card through Stripe (website). We never see your card details.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period and at the same price unless you cancel it before the current period ends; for the App Store and Google Play, at least 24 hours before. The renewal is charged at the end of the period (the App Store and Google Play may charge it within the 24 hours before).
- To cancel on iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Brainimo (your App Store account settings).
- To cancel on Android: the Google Play app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Brainimo.
- To cancel a website subscription: in the Brainimo parent area, Brainimo Pro → Manage subscription.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's rules: https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled by Google under Google Play's rules: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. For a website purchase, write to us at hello@brainimo.app.
- Deleting your Brainimo account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription: cancel it there first. A website subscription is cancelled when you delete the account, and nothing more is charged.
- If you subscribe in more than one place (for example on the website and in the app), each subscription is billed separately until you cancel it where you bought it.
- If the price changes, Apple, Google or, for the website, we tell you beforehand and, where required, ask for your consent.
Using Brainimo fairly
Brainimo is for your family's personal use. Please don't:
- use it for any commercial purpose, or resell access to it;
- try to get into other families' data, break or overload the service, or get around the parent check or the security;
- copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, its games, characters, voices or art;
- put other people's personal details, or anything offensive, into names, rewards or missions.
Our content
Brainimo, its games, characters, voices, art and text belong to us or to those who license them to us. While your account is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them in Brainimo for your family.
The app from the App Store or Google Play
If you got Brainimo from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). These terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for Brainimo or its content, and has no duty to provide support for it.
If you got Brainimo from Google Play, Google Play's Terms of Service also apply to your use of Google Play. These terms are between you and us, not Google.
Changes to Brainimo
We keep improving Brainimo, so games and features may change, be added or be removed. We try to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. If we change what Brainimo Pro includes in a way that matters, we tell you in the app first.
Ending your account
You can delete your family account at any time in the parent area: Settings → Delete family account. Everything is deleted at once, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; if we do, we tell you why, unless the law doesn't allow it.
Our responsibility
Brainimo is provided as it is. It supports learning at home; it doesn't replace school, a teacher or professional advice. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for Brainimo in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator of Brainimo is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim in its courts.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using Brainimo after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
